Since 1968 AARP Tax-Aide volunteers have helped taxpayers with tax services by ensuring they receive applicable tax credits and deductions. This free program is not just for those that are 60 and older, the program is open to all low to moderate-income taxpayers that need the service.
There is no reason to procrastinate when free help is literally right around the corner. This year there are over 20 locations within a 20 mile radius of downtown Orlando. Locations include senior centers, area churches and public libraries. Broaden your range and you will find many more locations in the Central Florida area.

Some of the more important documents that you will need to bring with you include a government issued id along with your Social Security card or other official documents, last year’s tax return and a checkbook or pre-printed direct deposit information with a routing number and account number. A complete list of what you will need for filing your taxes can be found at the AARP page for Important Documents to Bring to Your Appointment.
