This is the retirement home and gardens of Czech-born American sculptor Albin Polasek. After his retirement to Winter Park at the age of 70, Albin continued with his sculptures completing eighteen major works even after he suffered a stroke, leaving his left side paralized. The porperty is listed on the Natrional Register of Historic Places.
